The Supporters’ Circle for Interns

Since 1997, a circle of members organizes and provides financial support to train academic interns at the Kunsthalle Bremen.

Young art historians with a PhD are actively incorporated into all areas of museum work for two years. They also receive a special opportunity to organize their own exhibition. Without the cooperation of interns, many interesting projects would not have been as extensive, or would not have been held at all. At the same time, training young academics is essential for their future careers in museums.
